Tuesday’s winter storm blanketed the mountains with heavy snow, and moderate rain across most of greater Tucson and all of southeastern Arizona.
Places in Cochise County near Bisbee & Douglas were close to breaking (and still may) all-time daily rain records for the month of March.
Next up are gusty west/southwest winds for Wednesday. Cochise, Graham and Greenlee Counties will be under a Wind Advisory from 8 AM – 8 PM.
Winds in the warned area could gust as high as 50 mph during the day. Farther west in Tucson, breezy-to-locally windy conditions will also be present. Winds in eastern Pima County could gust as high as 35 mph.
Cool weather will persist through the remainder of the week with highs finally reaching 70 degrees by Friday.
